For full details on the syllabus please see the BCU website.
The first day of the course will be spent looking at the syllabus and refining your technique, both on flat and moving water with the second day a relaxed assessment as we go on a grade II river, at the end of the two days you should hopefully have passed.
We recommend you have read the Syllabus beforehand, as the training is only over one day you should already be able to flat water roll
The Courses are held in the Peak District and N.Wales
Peak District course will be run on the River Goyt, with courses in North Wales runing most likley on either the Dee, Llugwy or Glaslyn.
Please bring along all your own personal equipment that you would normally take on a river trip.
