Canoes
Canoes are stable open 2 seated boats with a single ended paddle, they are designed for long journeys and exploration, whilst being stable and able to carry lots of equipment.
Canoes were first designed by the Canadian hunters for carrying there furs up and down stream, large enough to carry upto 16 people.
Typical Canoeing session
These Canoe sessions are designed for the complete novice and to give you a chance to have some fun whilst learning new skills.
In the 1/2 day session we will normally cover some basic coaching to get the Canoes going where we want them too. Plenty of fun, adventure and a journey.
All are sessions are designed to give you a great time and spending as much time on the water as possible.
Locations used: Roman Lakes, Peak Forest Canal
1/2 Day or Full days activity
Minimum age 10
What we provide.
We will provide you with the Canoe, paddle, helmet, waterproof cag, bouyancy aid and helmet.
All we ask you to bring is some clothes you dont mind possibly getting wet including shoes (not flip flops)
