Introduction to Kayaking

A One or Two day course, designed to give you a fun introduction to Kayaking, this course is offered in both the Peak district and Norh Wales, the course will cover basic boat handling skills, rescues and plenty of time on the water. By the end of the course you will have learnt enough kayaking skills to get your 1 star award.

Introduction to White Water Kayaking

A one or two day beginner’s white water course, looking at the specific skills required to get down rapids safely and the fun and excitement of this sport. You will be under the guidance of our qualified coaches and small instructor ratio’s.

Prerequisites: Ability to control your boat on flat water, paddle forward, backward, turn and a controlled capsize.

Introduction to Sea Kayaking.

A one or two day introduction course for people that have never kayaked before but wish to take up Sea Kayaking and learn to kayak in a sea specific boat. The course will cover basic boat handling skills, rescues on the first day, some basic trip planning, with the second day trying out these new skills on a journey.

Introduction to Tour Kayaking

A two day flat water touring course kayaking avialable on the great lakes in the heart of the Lake District, the lakes and estruaries of North Wales, and the Canal Systems and slow moving rvers such as the River Weaver in the Peak District and Cheshire area. pack your food in these specially designed kayaks and enjoy the great views and nature. An alternative way to explore these beautiful area's. Don't forget to pack your ice cream money.

Beginner to White Water

Join us on a five day course taking you from your first steps in a kayak, using local lakes and canals before moving onto easier moving rivers and a taste of white water kayaking. The course starts with basic boat handling skills, rescues, with the final two days looking at easy white water. All under the guidance of our expert coaches. These courses are run in Norh Wales and the Peak district.
