Join us on the beginning of a new adventure, as you take your first steps in Tour kayaking, and the peace and tranquillity of kayaking on a calm lake on a beautiful summers day and taking in the scenery.
This two day course will set you on your way to exploring these places on your own. By the end of the course we hope you will have had a fun experience and have learnt some new skills on the way.
So if you want a safe and enjoyable introduction to Tour kayaking, then join us for this two day course.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
WHAT WE COVER
The first day will be spent getting used to the Tour Kayaks, making sure that they are set up specifically for you and looking at basic kayak strokes, rescue techniques and lots of fun and great scenery.
The second day generally will involve a longer journey on one of the Great Lakes, enjoying the views, exploring the Islands, whilst looking at improving on the skills learnt the previous day.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
We will Provide you with any equipment that you require be that a kayak, paddle, helmet etc, all we ask is that you give us notice on booking of equipment required whether it is everything or just a single item.

Based in the Lake District, we often use Coniston, Windermere, Ullswater, Derwent
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
Warm outdoor clothing (fleeces, thermals,)
Footwear you don’t mind getting wet (not flip flops or wellingtons)
Drink (Hot or Cold dependant on time of year)
