Team Development
Creek&Climb are now offering Team building days and weekends.
We offer a number of different activites to choose from and a number of different styles for the day/weekend wether that is looking at leadership skills, work based principals or just a chance to have some fun with your work colleagues or break the ice with new colleges.
You can choose from a number of activities to take part in.
Possible activities include:
Kayaking
Canoeing
Climbing
Abseiling
Raft Building
Gorge Walking
Lawn/Team building games
On two day courses we can also offer an evening of wine tasting, with Judith who as well as being an outdoor instructor also worked in the wine industry for a number of years and has a great knowledge. This makes for a nice evening of drinking wine, relaxing and gaining a greater apreciation of the different wines.
So wether you want to focus on leadership over the weekend or just fun, all you have to do is send us an email with your requirments and we will base a programme around your needs.
These courses are run both in the Peak district and North Wales.
We can provide you with any equipment that is required and work with groups on small ratios max 1:8 to keep it more personal and greater flexibility.

Some example programmes include.
The Raft problem.
During the morning your group find, hunt and solve problems by working together to earn money that can be used to purchase parts so that you can build your own raft. You are then expected to paddle this raft to a secret spot on the lake/pond and find the treasure.
How safe, secure and seaworthy your raft is will depend on how much money you have managed to aquire and wether or not you have spent the money wisely .
Its all go write from the start with your team choosing which exercises it will solve quickly using the collective strength and abilities of the group. Making sure they don't spend to much time on one problem and where appropriate splitting the team up for the individual tasks to make as much money as possible before designing the raft, building and launching the raft in the afternoon.
Gorge Walking trip.
Come and try this exciting adventure as you scramble through the stream, climbing up waterfalls using ropes and climbing equipment, looking after each other as you succesfully climb to the top. It will be important that you look after yourself and the rest of your team, tworking with challenge by choice this is quite a demanding challenge in a beuatiful environment. One thing is for sure by the end of it you'll be soacking wet with a big grin on your face
Mountain Challenge.
Meeting your group the evening before hand we will go through some basic navigation skills. Its then up to you and your team to make it to the top of the summit and back on your own (with an instructor shadowing you in the distance). Along the way you will have to navigate to certain landmarks where there will be either a team challenge or letter of a code, collect all these solve the problem and recieve your prize back at the bottom. This is a challenging day in the beatuiful surroundings of either the Peak district or North Wales
