A two or five day course looking at refining your white water skills, river reading, using features, surfing small waves and holes,micro eddies using grade II/III white water, under the expert tuition of our coaches and small ratios . With the possibility of some easy class IV.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
You need to be able to control your boat on GII with some ability to control your kayak on GIII with a reliable moving water roll.
WHAT WE COVER
The first couple of days will be spent improving your current skills, body position, dynamic edge control, we will also look at specific river techniques.

The second day generally will involve some form of journey dependant on river levels, and putting these new found skills into practice on our journey.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
We recommend that you have your own kayak at this time however we can provide any equipment if required, all we ask is that you give us notice on booking if you require any equipment big or small.

We tend to use Wales predominantly due to a greater number of rivers, those we may possibly use include the Dee, Conwy, Llugwy, Ogwen, Tryweren,

Warm outdoor clothing (fleeces, thermals,)
Footwear you don’t mind getting wet (not flip flops or wellingtons)
