Enjoy kayaking but unsure where to go next with the choice of white water, sea and surf kayaking.

Join us on this five day course where we will have a great time exploring the rivers and coast of North Wales, playing in the rapids, surfing down the face of a wave or taking in the coast line and watching the seals playing.

This course is designed for people that have some kayak experience and can happily control their boat, manouvere with ease and are comfortable capsizing.

WHAT WE COVER

During the five days we will look at the different techniques that are required for white water, sea and surf kayaking, looking at the different boats and styles of paddling.

In white water we will look at : Sea kayaking we will look at : Surfing we will look at:
 
Breaking in and out of the flow Dynamic forward paddling Paddling out
Ferry gliding Dealing with wind and waves Catching waves
Surfing small wave and stoppers Rock hopping Bottom turns
Simple Safety Coastal planning Surf etiquette

WHAT WE PROVIDE

We can supply you with any kit required, we just ask that you inform us on booking what equipment and sizing you require.

VENUES USED

Dependant on weather and rain we will use a number of rivers in the Snowdon valley or llangollen as well as the coast line of Anglesy.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

Warm outdoor clothing (fleeces, thermals)
Shoes you dont mind getting wet (not sandals or wellingtons)
Drink (hot flask)
Waterproofs
Swimming trunks/costume
